Loucon Camping and Retreat Center is situated in beautiful Kentucky surrounded by rolling hills and lush forests. The center is in proximity to Mammoth Cave National Park, which is famous for its underground cave system. The camping area offers a range of amenities including a swimming pool, hiking trails, playground, basketball court, and a lake for fishing and boating. The campground has 33 sites, including a group site, and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The best time to visit is during the summer months, from June to August, with average temperatures ranging from 80-90°F. However, visitors can also plan a trip during the shoulder seasons of May and September when the weather is cooler and there are fewer crowds.
