Reservations are highly recommended (available online), and camping fees apply. Amenities include flush toilets, seasonal showers, drinking water, fire rings, picnic tables, and a dump station. RVs are welcome, though there are no hookups. Nestled in a scenic North Shore forest near Lake Superior, the campground offers access to waterfalls, rugged shoreline, and hiking/biking trails. Highlights include the Gitchi-Gami State Trail and Middle/Lower Falls. Best visited May–October for mild weather and full amenity availability.
