Camping is free, with no reservations or permits required. There are no amenities: no toilets, water, picnic tables, or hookups. Campers must pack in/out and practice Leave No Trace. Fire rings are not provided, so bring a portable grill or fire-safe setup. The lakeside setting is quiet and scenic, with gentle rolling hills and open views. Fishing and boating are popular, and nearby trails are limited. Best visited in spring or fall for mild weather; summers can be hot. High-clearance vehicles recommended for access.
