Fresno, Texas, isn’t a traditional camping destination, but nearby Brazos Bend State Park offers established campsites with restrooms (flush + pit), potable water, fire rings, picnic tables, and RV access (some sites with electric/water hookups).

Reservations are recommended, and entry + camping fees apply. The park features lush wetlands, hardwood forest, and scenic lakes—perfect for wildlife viewing (alligators included!), fishing, hiking, and stargazing at the George Observatory. Dispersed camping isn’t permitted. The vibe is peaceful and nature-rich, ideal for families and birders. Best visited in spring and fall for mild temps and active wildlife.
