Los Cuates Camping Area is situated in the Texas Hill Country, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Nearby points of interest include the popular Garner State Park, Lost Maples State Natural Area, and the Frio River. The campground provides amenities such as picnic tables, fire rings, and clean restrooms. It operates on a first-come-first-serve basis, with a total of 19 campsites available. The best time of year to visit is during the spring and fall seasons, when the average temperatures range between 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit. This is the perfect time to enjoy the beautiful scenery, go hiking, or take a dip in the nearby river. However, visitors should note that summer temperatures can exceed 100 degrees, making it less suitable for camping.
