East Fork Bear River Campground in Utah’s Uinta Mountains offers 11 established first-come, first-served sites with picnic tables, fire rings, pit toilets, and seasonal drinking water (no hookups).


Summary

Dispersed camping is also available nearby. No reservations or permits needed for standard camping; fees apply per night. Nestled in a scenic high-alpine forest next to the Bear River, the area has a peaceful, remote vibe. Popular nearby trails include Whisky Island Lake Trail and Lily Lake. Accessible for smaller RVs but no hookups. Best visited June–September when roads are open and weather is mild. Expect serene mountain views, wildlife sightings, and star-filled nights.
