The Upper Narrows Camping Area is located in Southern Utah near the town of Cedar City. The campground is situated in a beautiful canyon with stunning views of the surrounding red rock cliffs. The campground has 15 campsites, 9 of which are designated for RVs, and the remaining 6 are for tents. The campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the cost is $15 per night.

A quirky fact about the area is that it was once a popular spot for moonshiners during the Prohibition era.
The best time of year to visit the Upper Narrows Camping Area is during the summer months when temperatures are warm and pleasant. The average temperature in July is around 85 degrees Fahrenheit. However, visitors should be aware that the campground is at a higher elevation, so temperatures can be cooler at night. It is advisable to bring warm clothing and extra blankets, especially during the early spring and fall seasons.
