Dispersed backcountry camping is allowed with a permit. No reservations for campgrounds (first-come, first-served), but backcountry permits are required. When open, sites have pit toilets, fire rings, picnic tables, and no hookups or potable water; RVs allowed but no hookups. The area features lush temperate rainforest, river views, and nearby trails like Geyser Valley and Olympic Hot Springs. Best visited late spring through early fall. The serene, forested vibe offers a peaceful wilderness experience close to Port Angeles.
