The area is forested and remote, offering a peaceful, rustic experience ideal for self-sufficient campers. Nearby, you’ll find opportunities for hunting, wildlife viewing, and hiking. The best time to visit is late spring through early fall for mild weather and accessible roads. Be prepared to pack in and out.
