No reservations or permits are required, but a small fee applies. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and nearby potable water (at nearby campgrounds). There's no RV access or hookups—tent camping only. Nestled in lush temperate rainforest, the campground provides a quiet, scenic setting under towering old-growth trees. The Gatton Creek Trail connects to the Lake Quinault Loop, with waterfalls and lake views nearby. Best visited May–September for mild weather and trail access. Ideal for peaceful, rustic camping in a rainforest setting.
