There’s a small camping fee. Amenities include pit toilets, hand-pump water, fire rings/grills, picnic tables, and sites suitable for small RVs (no hookups). Nestled in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, the campground is peaceful and wooded, with sites near Emily Lake for swimming, paddling, and fishing. It’s a great base for hiking or biking nearby trails like the Nicolet State Trail. The best time to visit is late spring through early fall, when weather is mild and the forest is lush and vibrant.
