Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made via the Wisconsin DNR website; camping fees apply. The campgrounds provide flush and pit toilets, drinking water, fire rings, picnic tables, and some electric hookups for RVs (no full hookups). Set in a forested, hilly landscape with scenic bluffs, lakes, and waterfalls, the park is ideal for hiking, paddling, and wildlife watching. Over 40 miles of trails and two swimming beaches enhance the experience. Spring through fall is the best time to visit for mild weather and full access to amenities.
