Virgin River Gorge

The Virgin River Gorge is a beginner run consisting of mostly class II flat water. The river makes it way through remote, uninhabited land. Keep your eyes open for river wildlife, as it is very abundant. Keep a heads up for river wide fences. A portage is required at the fish dam, consider portaging river right.

Suggested river levels for paddling this section of the Virgin River are between a bare minimum of 250cfs and a high of 1,200cfs. River conditions sourced from USGS 09408135, the Virgin River Ab Quail Creek Near Hurricane Remember only watercraft are permitted at Virgin River Gorge.
