Cradle Of Forestry Overlook
One of the unique things about this location is that it was the site of the nation's first forestry school, established in 1898 by George Vanderbilt. Visitors can explore the nearby Cradle of Forestry Historic Site to learn more about the history of forestry in America and see early forestry equipment and buildings.
In addition to the historical significance, the Cradle of Forestry Overlook is also an excellent starting point for hiking and exploring the surrounding forest.
