Wilson Arch

The Wilson Arch is a massive sandstone arch located in the Upper Colorado-Kane Springs watershed of Utah. It is situated just off of U.S. Route 191 and is a popular destination for tourists and hikers alike. The arch was named after Joe Wilson, a local pioneer who was known for his work as a mail carrier during the late 1800s. The arch is estimated to be around 100 million years old and was formed by the gradual erosion of the sandstone.

There are several great reasons to visit the Wilson Arch. The arch itself is an impressive sight to see and is a unique natural wonder that should not be missed. Visitors can hike around the base of the arch and take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Additionally, the area is known for its hiking and rock climbing opportunities, and there are several trails nearby that offer a range of difficulty levels.
