Frd No 12, also known as Timber Creek Watershed Dam 12, is a locally owned earth dam located in Floral, Cowley County, Kansas. Built in 1973 by the USDA NRCS, this dam serves the primary purpose of flood risk reduction for the Timber Creek-TR river/stream. With a height of 38 feet and a length of 880 feet, Frd No 12 has a storage capacity of 506 acre-feet and covers a surface area of 18.1 acres.

Managed by the Kansas Department of Agriculture, Frd No 12 is regulated, permitted, inspected, and enforced by state authorities to ensure its structural integrity and safety. The dam has a low hazard potential and a moderate risk assessment rating, indicating the importance of ongoing risk management measures. Although its condition assessment is currently not rated, the dam continues to play a crucial role in mitigating flood risks in the region.

Despite not having outlet gates, Frd No 12 features an uncontrolled spillway with a width of 40 feet to manage excess water flow during heavy rainfall events.
