area Sunday and Monday...
.A surface trough over central Colorado on Sunday, combined with
high pressure east, will create a strong southwesterly gradient
over Colorado allowing for dry conditions and low humidity. On
Monday, westerly downslope flow sets up along/south of Highway 40
allowing for dry conditions and gusty winds.
The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 11 AM to 7 PM MDT Sunday. A Fire Weather Watch has also been
issued. This Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative
humidity is in effect from Monday morning through Monday evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 254 Cheyenne.
* TIMING...For the Red Flag Warning, from 11 AM to 7 PM MDT

through Monday evening.
* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph for
Sunday. West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph for Monday.
