Geis Wetland, also known as Dike A, is a private-owned wetland located in Sanborn, Minnesota. This wetland serves as a Fish and Wildlife Pond and was completed in 2002 by GGG ENG. With a dam height of 8 feet and a length of 1100 feet, Geis Wetland has a storage capacity of 313 acre-feet and a normal storage of 142 acre-feet, providing essential habitat for fish and wildlife in the area.

Managed by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Geis Wetland is regulated and inspected regularly to ensure its structural integrity and environmental impact. The wetland's spillway is controlled and has a width of 25 feet, with a low hazard potential. Despite not being rated for condition assessment, Geis Wetland remains a valuable resource for water management and conservation, with a very high risk assessment due to its critical role in supporting local ecosystems and biodiversity.

In the event of an emergency, Geis Wetland is equipped with a slide (sluice gate) outlet gate and updated emergency contacts. With a risk management plan in place and ongoing monitoring, this wetland continues to play a vital role in preserving the natural landscape and supporting wildlife populations in the Redwood County area of Minnesota.
