With a dam height of 23 feet and a length of 700 feet, the structure has a maximum storage capacity of 236 acre-feet and a normal storage capacity of 33 acre-feet. The dam is equipped with a controlled spillway and a single valve outlet gate for water release.
Despite its low hazard potential, the site has been rated as having a very high risk due to its age and lack of recent inspection and assessment. The dam's condition is currently listed as not rated, and it has not undergone a condition assessment in recent years. While it meets state regulatory requirements and is regularly inspected, the risk management measures and emergency action plan for the dam are not up to date. The dam's risk level highlights the importance of continued monitoring and maintenance to ensure the safety and functionality of this vital flood control structure.
