Sonny's is a privately owned earth dam located in Campbell, Wyoming, along the Hugo Draw river. Built in 2006, this irrigation dam stands 29 feet tall and spans 395 feet in length, with a storage capacity of 100 acre-feet and a surface area of 7.18 acres. Despite its low hazard potential, the dam is currently assessed as being in poor condition, as of the last inspection in August 2017.

Managed by the Wyoming State regulatory agencies SEO and DEQ, Sonny's serves multiple purposes including irrigation, fire protection, stock, and small fish pond. With a maximum discharge capacity of 4412 cubic feet per second and an uncontrolled spillway width of 100 feet, the dam presents a moderate risk that necessitates regular inspections every 5 years. In the event of an emergency, the dam has one valve outlet gate for water release.

For water resource and climate enthusiasts, Sonny's represents a significant infrastructure contributing to the local agricultural landscape in Wyoming. Its condition assessment and risk evaluation highlight the importance of ongoing maintenance and monitoring to ensure the safety and functionality of this essential water resource for the community.
