About the Area
Mt. Ontake, also known as Ontake-san, is a volcanic mountain located in the Chubu region of Japan. The mountain is part of the Kiso mountain range and is the second highest volcano in Japan after Mt. Fuji. Ciao-Ontake Ski Resort is located on the slopes of Mt. Ontake and offers a variety of skiing and snowboarding opportunities for visitors.
