Sitzmark Ski Hill is a family-friendly ski resort located in Brookston, Minnesota. With 15 runs and 6 lifts, it offers a variety of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. The best trails include the beginner-friendly Bunny Hill and the intermediate run, Long Shot. The resort also offers night skiing on select days. An interesting fact about Sitzmark is that it was originally built in the 1960s by a group of local farmers as a way to make use of their land during the winter months. For beginners, it is recommended to start on the Bunny Hill and take a lesson from one of the resort's experienced instructors. For apres ski, visitors can head to nearby Duluth and check out The Rathskeller, a German-themed bar with a cozy atmosphere and live music.
