Summary

The current snowpack stands at 3 inches with a snow water equivalent of 0.4 inches, offering light coverage ideal for early-season runs. While base conditions are thin, grooming crews have been working diligently to maintain rideable terrain on select lower-mountain trails. Layers are recommended as you head up the lifts—expect variable snow with some hard-packed sections in sun-exposed areas.

Looking ahead, a modest system is expected to deliver approximately 1 inch of fresh snow over the next five days, which should help improve surface conditions slightly heading into the weekend. No major local news impacting the mountain or access roads has been reported, so travel remains smooth for those heading up. While full coverage remains a few snowfalls away, it’s a serene and scenic start to the season—perfect for carving a few peaceful turns before the holiday crowds arrive.
