About the Area
The Ichinose-Yamanokami Ski Resort is located in the northern part of Japan's Nagano Prefecture, in the Joshinetsu Kogen National Park.
The ski resort is part of the larger Shiga Kogen Ski Area, one of Japan's largest ski resorts. The resort is surrounded by several mountain ranges, including the Yatsugatake Mountains to the west, the Hida Mountains to the east, and the Kiso Mountains to the south.
Some of the prominent mountain aspects of the Ichinose-Yamanokami Ski Resort include Mount Yokote, Mount Higashidate, and Mount Yokote.
