The Ladurns Ski Resort is located in the South Tyrol region of Italy, near the town of Gossensass. It is situated in the Sarntal Alps, a subrange of the Central Eastern Alps. The resort offers stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges, including the Stubai Alps to the north and the Dolomites to the south. The highest peak in the area is the Serles, which reaches an elevation of 2,717 meters (8,914 feet). The Ladurns Ski Resort itself has a vertical drop of 1,200 meters (3,937 feet) and features a variety of runs catering to all levels of skiers and snowboarders.
The best trails are the blue runs which are perfect for beginners and offer scenic views of the surrounding mountains. An interesting fact is that Ladurns was once a mining area and visitors can still see the old mine tunnels and ruins in the surrounding area. For beginner skiers, we recommend the "Almboden" slope, which is gentle and wide, ideal for learning to ski. For the best apres ski bar, we suggest the "Hexenkessel" which offers a lively atmosphere with live music and delicious local cuisine.
