Panarotta Ski Resort is located in the Trentino region of Italy and is situated in the Lagorai mountain range. The resort offers stunning views of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is known for its wide, well-groomed slopes and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The highest peak in the area is Cima Panarotta, which stands at 2,002 meters above sea level. The resort also offers a variety of mountain aspects, including steep slopes for advanced skiers and snowboarders, as well as gentle beginner slopes for those just learning to ski.
The best trails for experienced skiers are the black runs of Pala 1 and Pala 2, which offer steep descents and challenging terrain. A lesser-known fact is that the resort was once an important military post during World War I, and visitors can still see the remains of trenches and bunkers along some of the ski runs. For beginners, the gentle slopes of the Nursery area provide an ideal starting point. The best apres ski bar is the rustic Rifugio Cima d'Asta, which offers panoramic views and traditional Trentino cuisine.
