Rigi
Rigi ski resort in Schwyz offers a variety of ski trails suited for all skill levels, but the best trails are the blue pistes that are perfect for beginners. A little-known historical fact about Rigi is that it was a popular destination for the Swiss aristocracy in the 19th century. For beginner skiers, we recommend taking the Rigi-Kaltbad cable car to the top and skiing down the gentle slopes while enjoying the panoramic views of the Swiss Alps. After a long day on the slopes, the best apres ski bar is the Bergrestaurant Rigi Scheidegg, which offers delicious food and drinks in a cozy atmosphere.

How often is the snow report updated?
Snowpack and SNOTEL data are updated continuously by NRCS (typically hourly). The 15-day weather forecast is refreshed throughout the day. Snoflo caches and renders the most recent observation -- look for the "as of" timestamp on the snowpack hero.
What's the elevation at Rigi?

How is "% of normal" calculated?
