In northeast Georgia, Banks, Jackson, Towns and White. In northwest Georgia, Bartow, Carroll, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Haralson, Murray, Paulding, Polk, Walker and Whitfield. In west central Georgia, Coweta, Heard, Meriwether, Pike, Spalding and Troup. * WHEN...Through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several waves of precipitation will move through the area through Thursday morning. Total rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected with locally higher amounts of up to 6 inches possible.
