Lawrence Shoals Camping Area is located in Georgia and offers an impressive view of the Oconee River. The area is a perfect spot for fishing and kayaking, with Lake Oconee and Sandy Creek Park nearby. The campground amenities include picnic tables, fire pits, grills, and toilets. The area is first-come, first-served, and has 26 campsites. The best time to visit is from March to May and September to November, with temperatures ranging from 50°F to 80°F. The campground is closed from December to February due to the colder weather.
