Cedar Basin Camp is a first-come, first-serve camping area in Northern California. The campground offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, forests, and the Trinity River. There are 12 campsites, each with a fire ring and picnic table. The amenities include vault toilets and potable water. Visitors can enjoy fishing and swimming in the Trinity River, hiking in the nearby Trinity Alps Wilderness, and exploring historic Weaverville. The best time to visit is from June to August when temperatures range from 70-80°F during the day and drop to 40-50°F at night.
