Choinumni Park County Camping Area is a small, first-come-first-serve campground in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. There are only nine campsites, but the surrounding views of the river and mountains are stunning. Nearby activities include hiking, fishing, and boating on the nearby Kings River. The campground offers basic amenities such as picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. The best time to visit is during the fall when temperatures are cooler, averaging around 70 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and 40 degrees Fahrenheit at night.
