The best time to visit Mid Hills is during the spring and fall months when the temperatures are milder, ranging from 60°F to 80°F. Summers can be extremely hot, reaching over 100°F, while winters can be chilly, dropping to freezing temperatures at night.

Exploring the surrounding area offers several points of interest for campers. The Mid Hills area is known for its unique desert landscapes with Joshua trees and stunning rock formations.
