The campsite boasts easy access to a number of popular hiking trails, including the Lawn Lake Trail and Crystal Lakes Trail. The area is known for its abundant wildlife, including elk, deer and moose. The campground offers basic amenities such as toilets and picnic tables, but no water or electric hookups. The 12 campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can accommodate tents, RVs and trailers up to 30 feet in length. The best time to visit is between June and September, when temperatures range from 50-80°F during the day and drop to around freezing at night.
