There are no established campsites—campers must follow Leave No Trace principles. No reservations or fees are required, but a permit may be needed for overnight stays in certain areas. Amenities are minimal: no toilets, water, fire rings, or picnic tables. RVs and hookups are not permitted. Surrounded by dense forest and rugged terrain, the area offers a peaceful, remote experience ideal for backpackers. Nearby attractions include Blood Mountain and scenic hiking along the Appalachian Trail. Best visited in spring or fall.
