The campground offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests, with plenty of opportunities for hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing nearby. Guests can explore the nearby Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, visit the historic mining town of Warren, or take a dip in the nearby hot springs. The campground has 10 campsites, each with a fire ring and picnic table, and vault toilets are available. Reservations are not accepted, and campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The best time to visit is from late spring to early fall when temperatures average between 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, with cooler temperatures at night.
