Little Sand Bay Campground is situated in a picturesque location in Illinois, overlooking the stunning Lake Michigan. The campground features 56 campsites, ranging from primitive to electric hookups, and offers visitors plenty of opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors. The area is popular for hiking, fishing, swimming, and birdwatching, with nearby attractions such as the Cave Point County Park and the Whitefish Dunes State Park. Campground amenities include showers, restrooms, picnic tables, and fire pits. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's advisable to arrive early during peak season. The best time to visit is in the summer months from June to August when temperatures range from 60°F to 80°F, providing perfect weather for outdoor activities.
