Nestled in a peaceful, forested setting near the Penobscot River, the campsite offers serene views and easy access to Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument trails. Popular nearby hikes include Deasey Mountain and the Esker Trail. Best visited late spring through early fall for milder weather and trail access.
