Flowing Well Campground in Michigan’s Hiawatha National Forest offers 9 first-come, first-served established campsites nestled in a peaceful, wooded setting along the Sturgeon River.

No reservations or permits are needed, and a small fee is required. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and vault toilets are available; however, there is no drinking water or RV hookups. Small RVs may fit, but the area is best for tents or car camping. Enjoy trout fishing, kayaking, and the nearby Bruno’s Run Trail. Ideal for solitude seekers, the best time to visit is late spring through early fall for pleasant weather and vibrant forest scenery.
