Reservations aren't required—sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There’s a small fee, and a permit may be needed for overnight stays. Amenities include pit toilets, fire rings, picnic tables, and limited potable water; no hookups are available, but tents and small RVs can access the area. Surrounded by dense forest and near the Cut Foot Sioux Trail system, it’s ideal for hiking, birding, and fishing. Best visited late spring through early fall for mild weather and vibrant forest scenery.
