There are no amenities: no toilets, water, picnic tables, or fire rings; campers must pack in/out all essentials and follow Leave No Trace principles. RVs may access some areas, though without hookups. Surrounded by dense forest and near Lake Winnibigoshish, it’s a remote, rustic experience ideal for solitude and wildlife viewing. Popular nearby trails include the Cut Foot Sioux Trail. Best visited late spring to early fall when roads are accessible and temperatures mild. Expect peaceful, off-grid forest camping.
