Summary

No reservations or permits are needed, and the fee is $15/night. Campsites include picnic tables, fire rings, grills, vault toilets, and potable water; however, there are no RV hookups. The campground accommodates RVs up to 34 feet. Set in a scenic high desert landscape with views of historic adobe ruins and cottonwood trees, it provides a peaceful, uncrowded vibe. Visitors enjoy hiking trails, birdwatching, and exploring nearby Buckland Station. Spring and fall are the best times to visit due to mild temperatures and fewer bugs.
