A free permit may be required for campfires during fire season. There are no amenities—no toilets, water, picnic tables, or fire rings—so campers must pack in/out and follow Leave No Trace principles. The area is forested, remote, and serene, ideal for solitude-seekers and hunters. RVs are not recommended due to rough access roads and lack of facilities. Nearby attractions include the Cummins Creek Wilderness and coast-side trails. Best time to visit is late spring through early fall for dry weather and access.
