The campground amenities include pit toilets and picnic tables but no running water or showers. The campsites are first-come-first-serve with a total of 14 available sites.

An interesting fact about Terlingua Abajo is that it is located near the site of the old Perry Mansion, which was used as a movie set in the 1980s.
