There are no established campsites, toilets, potable water, or other amenities—campers must practice Leave No Trace. No reservations or permits are required, and there are no fees. Campers will find a peaceful, forested lakeside setting with views of the Cascades and access to nearby trails like the Elbow Lake and Park Butte Trails. Fires are not allowed. The trailhead accommodates day-use and overnight parking, but RVs are not suitable due to road and trail access. Best visited July–September for snow-free trails and optimal weather.
