The Whitewater River Run from Confluence with Rabbit Creek to Confluence with Middle Fork Boise River in Idaho is a fantastic trip for experienced paddlers. This run covers 7.9 miles of Class III-IV rapids, with an ideal streamflow range of 800-2,000 cfs. This run features multiple rapids, such as the continuous class III rapids in the first two miles of the run, and the Class IV Steep Creek Rapid around mile six.

The Whitewater River Run is regulated by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The agency has established specific regulations to protect natural resources and ensure visitor safety. The BLM requires all visitors to pack out their trash and follow Leave No Trace principles. In addition, visitors are required to have a personal flotation device, and all boats must display a current Idaho Invasive Species Sticker.
