Wolford Mountain OHV Area


The Wolford Mountain OHV Area is located in Grand County, Colorado, within the Colorado headwaters watershed. The area is a popular destination for off-road enthusiasts and is open from May 15 to December 1 each year. The area covers approximately 3,500 acres, and visitors can explore over 25 miles of trails, including trails for ATVs, dirt bikes, and four-wheel drive vehicles. The trails offer a variety of terrains, from easy to difficult, and provide scenic views of the surrounding mountains. Visitors can also enjoy camping, picnicking, and fishing in the nearby Wolford Reservoir. The area is managed by the Bureau of Land Management, and visitors are required to obtain a permit before using the trails.
