Cape Horn Overlook
Cape Horn Overlook is accessed via Cape Horn Trail #4418. Follow Cape Horn Trail for a scenic 2 mile hike to Cape Horn Overlook. The site was developed in dedication to Nancy Russell, who saved this slice of heaven and its breathtaking views of the Columbia River Gorge.
You can complete the entire strenuous loop between July 16 to Jan 31. Peregrine falcon closure is in effect for the section south of Highway 14, along Cape Horn Trail, from February 1 to July 15 which closes a section of the trail.
Campground Restrictions
Day Use Only. No overnight camping allowed and absolutely NO CAMPFIRES are permitted.
