Lake o' the Pines is a reservoir located in northeast Texas, near the town of Jefferson.
The lake was formed in 1958 with the construction of a dam on Big Cypress Bayou. The area around the lake was historically inhabited by various Native American tribes, including the Caddo and Cherokee. The lake provides water for various uses, including irrigation, recreation, and municipal supply.
