Rush, also known as Rush Lake, is a private fish and wildlife pond located in Calhoun, Alabama. Built in 1962 by the USDA NRCS, this Earth dam stands at 28 feet high and spans 350 feet in length, with a storage capacity of 195 acre-feet. The reservoir covers an area of 15 acres and is fed by the TR Choccolocco Creek, offering recreational opportunities for visitors while serving its primary purpose of supporting fish and wildlife habitats.
