Watts Bros Organic Dairy Lagoon 2, located in Benton, Washington, is a privately owned earth dam completed in 2007 by SCM Consultants. This lagoon, with a structural height of 21 feet and a hydraulic height of 10 feet, serves as a critical water resource for the dairy operation. With a maximum storage capacity of 33 acre-feet and a normal storage level of 25.5 acre-feet, the lagoon covers an area of 2.3 acres and drains a small watershed of 0.01 square miles.

Managed by the Washington Dept of Ecology, Watts Bros Organic Dairy Lagoon 2 has a significant hazard potential but is currently in fair condition based on the latest inspection in October 2021. The dam has a state jurisdiction and is subject to state regulations, permitting, inspection, and enforcement. Despite not having a spillway, the lagoon has a well-maintained outlet structure. The dam's Emergency Action Plan status and risk assessment are currently unspecified, emphasizing the need for ongoing monitoring and risk management measures to ensure the safety and sustainability of this vital water resource in the region.
